Tub-to-Shower & Shower System Questions

  • Our tub-to-shower conversions are completed on a carefully planned timeline—typically within a few days to about a week—so we can deliver high-quality results without rushing the process.

  • We use premium solid-surface shower wall systems designed for durability, easy cleaning, and long-term performance. Tile-look patterns are available without real grout to maintain.

  • No real grout. Our solid-surface systems are seamless and non-porous, including tile-look designs that eliminate traditional grout maintenance.

  • We offer a curated selection of modern fixtures and finishes, including matte black, chrome, and brushed nickel options.

  • Yes. While we offer a curated selection of fixtures we know perform well and look great, homeowners are not locked into a single option. We’re happy to review alternative fixtures or finishes you prefer and confirm compatibility with your shower system and plumbing layout.

  • Yes. If you want to keep a bathtub, we can install a new tub along with solid-surface tub surrounds.

Installation & Process Questions

  • Yes. All plumbing updates and valve replacements are performed by licensed plumbers as required.

  • Yes. We secure and manage all necessary permits for your project.

  • In most cases, the bathroom will be unavailable during installation. We work efficiently to minimize downtime.

Pricing & Payment Questions

  • Yes. We offer financing options through a trusted third-party provider to help make your bathroom project more manageable. Financing is optional and can be discussed during your consultation. Approval and terms are determined directly by the financing provider.

    If you’d like, we can provide a pre-qualification link so you can explore options before or after your estimate.

    Financing options are offered through third-party lenders. Northland Bath & Shower does not provide financing directly and is not a lender or credit provider. All financing approvals, terms, interest rates, and repayment obligations are determined solely by the financing provider. Financing is optional and subject to credit approval.

  • Pricing depends on the size of the space, material selections, plumbing updates, and overall scope of work. While every project is different, the ranges below help set general expectations:

    Tub wall or surround replacements: starting at $5,000

    Tub-to-shower conversions: typically $12,000–$15,000

    Full bathroom remodels: generally $20,000 and up, depending on layout changes, finishes, and complexity

  • Several factors influence the final price of a bathroom project, including:

    • Size and layout of the space

    • Type of project (wall replacement vs. full tub-to-shower conversion or full remodel)

    • Plumbing updates or valve replacements

    • Material selections and wall patterns

    • Fixture choices and finishes

    • Accessibility features, such as low-threshold bases or grab bars

    • Overall project complexity

    During your in-home consultation, we review your space, discuss options, and provide a clear, detailed estimate based on your specific project — not a one-size-fits-all package.

  • Yes. We require a 50% deposit before materials are ordered or your project is scheduled. The remaining balance is due on the final day of the job, once the work is complete.

    This deposit secures your place on our schedule and allows us to order materials specifically for your project.

  • Yes. Changes can be made after the contract is signed, as long as they are reviewed and approved in writing before additional work begins. Any changes to the original scope of work may affect pricing and the project timeline.

    We document all changes through a written change order so expectations remain clear for both parties. Payment for approved change orders is required prior to the additional work being performed.

Pricing & Payment Questions

  • Solid-surface materials offer better durability, easier cleaning, and no grout maintenance compared to tile, while providing a more substantial feel than acrylic.

  • Northland Bath & Shower Workmanship Warranty

    Northland Bath & Shower warrants its installation workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of project completion.

    This warranty covers defects in workmanship related to the installation performed by Northland Bath & Shower under normal residential use.

    What This Warranty Covers

    • Installation-related workmanship issues

    • Errors directly resulting from our installation process

    • Corrections necessary to address verified workmanship defects

    What This Warranty Does Not Cover

    This warranty does not cover:

    • Normal wear and tear

    • Damage caused by improper use or misuse

    • Damage resulting from improper or non-recommended cleaning products

    • Damage caused by lack of routine maintenance

    • Damage resulting from structural movement, settling, or moisture issues outside of our control

    • Damage caused by other contractors, homeowners, or third parties

    • Manufacturer product defects (covered separately by the manufacturer’s warranty)

    Manufacturer Warranties

    Products and materials installed may be covered by separate manufacturer warranties, LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY on residential installations. and 10-Year Limited Warranty on commercial. installations. which are provided directly by the manufacturer. Northland Bath & Shower does not provide or administer manufacturer warranties and is not responsible for manufacturer warranty decisions.

    Warranty Claim Process

    To submit a warranty claim, homeowners must notify Northland Bath & Shower in writing within the warranty period. We will review the issue and determine whether it falls under warranty coverage.

    Limitations

    This warranty is limited to the original purchaser and original installation location and is not transferable.
